Devin Funchess was disappointing last week against a tough Ravens defense, but fantasy owners shouldn’t give up on him, especially not this week. The Panthers square off against the Buccaneers this weekend, who has one of the worst secondaries in the league.
Funchess, who had just three catches for 27 yards last week, is a must start this week. For one, so many talented wide receivers are on their bye on Sunday, but also, Tampa’s secondary has gotten torched nearly every week to this point.
Down the field passing has been a bit of a struggle for the Panthers this year, but Funchess has a good chance to make some noise this weekend. Get him in your lineup against a very vulnerable Tampa secondary.
