SIT ‘EM – D/ST

Normally the Rams defense is a great unit to start, but not this week. Los Angeles will have the tall task of having to stop Drew Brees and the New Orleans offense. That’s something not many defenses have had luck with this year and with how shaky the Rams defense has looked at times this season, they’re a prime bench candidate for week nine.

The Rams recently traded for a true pass rusher in Dante Fowler, but that won’t make a ton of difference in a game that could very well be an NFC Championship Game preview. The Saints offense has been nearly impossible to stop in 2018.

Per Michael Fabiano of NFL.com,

"Enemy defenses have averaged just 4.7 fantasy points when facing New Orleans on their home field, and only one defense has finished better than 16th in fantasy points against them overall."

That does not set up nicely for the Rams to finish the game in the plus category on Sunday. Keep the LA defense on the bench.
