SIT ‘EM

Last, but not least, sit Marquise Goodwin this week for the Thursday night game. Goodwin is the Niners’ top wide receiver, but the inconsistencies and the quarterback situation could be a good enough reason to bench him this week.

If Beathard doesn’t play, the Niners are going to struggle to move the football through the air. Even if Beathard does play, he and Goodwin haven’t always been on the same page. Goodwin had a nice game last week, racking up five receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown.

The week prior, however, he had just two catches for 24 yards. That could be the type of performance fantasy footballers should expect from Goodwin if the third string quarterback is at the helm on Thursday night.

Monitor the quarterback situation leading into the game, but more than likely, Marquise Goodwin is a viable Sit ‘Em candidate this week.
