SIT ‘EM

28. . Quarterback. Raiders. Derek Carr. 2. player

I went back and forth on whether Derek Carr was a Start ‘Em candidate or a Sit ‘Em candidate and opted to sit the Raiders quarterback. Sure, Carr is coming off of one of his better performances last week, but the 49ers are a tougher defense than that of the Colts.

Ultimately, I have Carr as a Sit ‘Em because aside from Jared Cook, he really doesn’t have many weapons left to throw to. We’ve seen some really good games from Carr this season and some really BAD games from Carr.

The Niners defense is decent and with how inconsistent Carr can be, I wouldn’t count on him to get you a ton of points this week. Only consider Carr as a decent Start ‘Em if you play in a two-quarterback league, otherwise leave him on the bench.
