START ‘EM

49ers. Matt Breida. 1. player. 42. . Running Back

Matt Breida hasn’t lived up to his potential recently, having rushed for just 42 yards last week and only 15 the week before that. Breida has been battling injuries and that mixed in with his limited production could make fantasy footballers a bit nervous when it comes to starting him.

Well, this is a good match-up for the Niners best offensive weapon. Oakland has been awful against the run, allowing big games to running backs in five of their seven games thus far.

Fantasy Pros notes,

"The Raiders have played seven games this year. In five of those games, they’ve allowed opposing running backs at least 113 yards on the ground, including 224 yards to the Colts running backs while at home last week."

Roll with Breida on Thursday night even with some of his weaker performances. He’ll be a solid choice against what’s been a very bad Raiders run defense.
