START ‘EM – D/ST

47. . D/ST. Patriots. New England D/ST. 5. player

The Patriots defense has mostly been a disappointment this season, but if you’ve stuck with them through the first seven weeks, they are the perfect defense to start this week. The Patriots not only get the Buffalo Bills, who are completely inept on offense, but they get Derek Anderson starting for the Bills.

Anderson was out of football three weeks ago and the Bills signed him about two weeks ago. He started last week against the Colts and looked awful, which bodes greatly for a Patriots defense that is looking for a boost.

There might not be a better week to start the New England D/ST than this week. Not to mention, their special teams accounted for two touchdowns a week ago against the Bears.

Start the Pats D this week.
