START ‘EM – QB

48. . Quarterback. Buccaneers. Jameis Winston. 1. player

Jameis Winston hasn’t had the easiest go of it this season, but things are starting to click for him and that’s good for fantasy footballers. Winston had 30 points in week six and had 20 in week seven, so he’s becoming a very reliable QB1 option in most leagues.

This week, Winston and the Bucs get a Bengals secondary that was absolutely destroyed by the Chiefs offense last week. Winston has the arm to expose defenses and the Bucs run game hasn’t been good enough to merit sticking to the run game.

It took a few weeks for Winston to take over the reigns as the Buccaneers quarterback, but he’s rolling now and fantasy owners should continue to utilize him as their QB1 until he has a bad game. A bad Cincinnati defense is a good script for fantasy owners though.

Start Winston this week.
