Despite his chemistry with Danny Amendola, I don’t like Brock Osweiler to do much else in week eight. Osweiler will head down to Houston to face his former team and when push comes to shove, we all know what Osweiler is as a quarterback.
After having a pretty good game against the Bears in his first start of the season, Osweiler came back down to earth in week seven versus the Lions. He threw for zero touchdowns, but he hasn’t thrown a pick yet, for what it’s worth.
The Texans defense has been tough on quarterbacks and the city of Houston has it out for ol’ Brock. If you play in a two-quarterback league, he might be a potential starting option, but otherwise, I wouldn’t risk it with Osweiler this week.
Keep him on the bench.
