Nebraska football is 0-6 and returns home to Lincoln this Saturday to host the Minnesota Golden Gophers. What should fans be watching for in this game?

The 2018 season hasn’t been ideal for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, but after two straight road games, Big Red returns home. The Minnesota Golden Gophers will be the visiting team at Memorial Stadium this weekend and for the first time in several weeks, the Cornhuskers are favored.

Minnesota sits at 3-3 and 0-3 in the Big Ten. They’ve dropped their last three games after beginning the year with a 3-0 start. In other words, the Golden Gophers aren’t having a good season themselves.

Nebraska, of course, is coming off yet another loss. The Cornhuskers had Northwestern painted into a corner, but couldn’t close things out. They blew a double digit lead and lost to the Wildcats in overtime.

As for the Gophers, they fell to the now second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes and didn’t get as embarrassed as some might have predicted. It was a 30-14 Ohio State victory. Surely when Nebraska faces the Buckeyes, they’ll get beaten by a lot more than that, so give Minnesota some credit there.

Let’s check out what to watch for in Nebraska’s seventh straight game.
