Kansas City Chiefs: Good, Bad, Ugly vs Patriots in week 6 of 2018
GOOD: TYREEK HILL
Tyreek Hill didn’t shine as much as fans would have hoped for last week against Jalen Ramsey and the Jaguars secondary, but he showed up for Sunday night’s game. Hill finished the night with seven catches for 143 yards and a touchdown. His biggest play of the game came on a 75-yard catch and run for a touchdown that tied things up at 40 points a piece.
GOOD: SPECIAL TEAMS
I haven’t mentioned special teams much this season, but they deserve a shoutout this week. For one, Harrison Butker continued to be the gift that keeps on giving in the kicking game. Butker remained perfect on the season, notching all four of his field goals and all four of his extra point attempts.
Rookie Tremon Smith also gets a shoutout here for his 97-yard kick return to set the Chiefs up at first and goal late in the game. Smith should definitely continue to get work on special teams after his impressive showing on Sunday night.
GOOD: OFFENSIVE LINE
Let’s give the big guys up front some love here. Patrick Mahomes wasn’t sacked on Sunday night and they opened things up for Kareem Hunt to put up 80 yards rushing. With injuries to Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and, at one point Mitch Morse as well, the offensive line didn’t miss a beat. There were some penalties here and there, but they played pretty well for the most part.
