FIVE THINGS TO WATCH VS ALABAMA

NUMBER 1 – CAN LOCK REBOUND?

It’s safe to say that Drew Lock is no longer in the consideration to win the Heisman Trophy after his last two games. Lock has not thrown for a touchdown since beginning SEC play and has been limited against tougher opponents. That’s always been the knock on Lock, but he’s not doing anything to shed that label.

Lock hasn’t played the Crimson Tide at all during his career and while some might think he can do some damage against them. The two Arkansas quarterbacks last week had just 233 yards through the air against the Tide, but to be fair, Arkansas has won just one game this season. Missouri is easily the better team and has the better quarterback.

It might be too late for Lock to win the Heisman, but he can continue to build his draft stock by playing well over these next few games. He has a good chance to be a first round draft pick, but he has to show that he can put up good numbers against good teams and not just subpar teams.
