FIVE THINGS TO WATCH VS ALABAMA

NUMBER 2 – CROCKETT LIKE IT’S HOT (OR SOMETHING ABOUT THE RUN GAME)

Somehow in a game with a torrential downpour, the run game for the Missouri Tigers wasn’t utilized as much as it should have been. Damarea Crockett led the team in rushing, putting up 154 yards off of 20 carries and a touchdown.

Missouri might not get to rely on the run game this week, as Alabama has a chance to go up early in this game and from there, MU will be forced to throw the ball. If, however, Missouri can stay in the game early, the run game is the way to go.

The Tigers finished their rushing day last week with 46 carries for 286 yards and three touchdowns. There was a monsoon in Columbia, South Carolina last week, which led to them being forced to run more.

Hopefully Missouri can stay in the game and actually use their run game to their advantage because it worked well for them last week.
