SIT ‘EM – TE

Cowboys. Geoff Swaim. 4. player. 123. . Tight End

While Geoff Swaim might be a top pick for fantasy owners off the waiver wire, don’t count on that production to continue on through this week. For one, the Cowboys offense isn’t great and it all depends on how Prescott is playing.

Second, the Cowboys host one of the toughest defenses in the league this week in the Jacksonville Jaguars. Yes, the Jags surrendered 30 points to the Chiefs last week, but Blake Bortles put them in a lot of bad spots. They’re still a great defense and one that has been dominant against the tight end this year.

Tight ends have been held back greatly against the Jaguars secondary and that’s yet another reason not to have Swaim in your starting lineup this week. The tight end position is thin in fantasy football, but you’re better off finding someone halfway decent this week over Swaim.
