SIT ‘EM

2. player. 31. . D/ST. Giants. New York D/ST

It’s probably a no brainer to keep the Giants defense on the bench (or to not own them period) by now, but it feels worth repeating. The G-Men defense and special teams unit is projected to score just 4.6 points this week against what should be a fiery Eagles offensive attack.

The Giants secondary has held its own, but the pass rush is another story. A big number in fantasy football is sacks and the Giants have only had one game where they’ve put up multiple sacks this year. They’re not getting to the quarterback and that’s not a recipe for a good fantasy defense.

On that same note, the Giants D hasn’t scored more than four points in fantasy all season long. With a desperate Eagles team coming to town, this doesn’t seem like the best time to take a chance on what’s been an underachieving defense.
