START ‘EM

Running Back. Eagles. Corey Clement. 2. player. 54.

Corey Clement has been banged up the last two weeks, but he returns at the perfect moment for the World Champion Eagles. Jay Ajayi landed on the injured reserve, which means Clement will be given an expanded role in the backfield.

He’s projected to put up 11.1 points in ESPN leagues this week, but it’s definitely worth noting that he will be sharing snaps with Wendell Smallwood. That cause definitely hamper his workload depending on how well Smallwood does with his share of the carries.

Fantasy Pros notes,

"When he last saw the field without Ajayi, the second-year pro produced 75 yards on 19 touches while playing more snaps than Wendell Smallwood, who nonetheless scored"

Clement has the ability to be a big boom this week or a major bust, but with the injury to Ajayi, Clement will be someone that you should keep stashed on your bench for the duration of the season.
