Kansas State Football: Good, Bad, Ugly from loss to Baylor

Kansas State couldn’t get out of their own way in this game and lost a very winnable game. Now they’ll return to Manhattan for Homecoming weekend to host the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

This season hasn’t gone according to plan, but it could get even worse very quickly. The Wildcats host the once-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday, who are coming off an embarrassing loss to Iowa State this past weekend. To say the Pokes will be looking for redemption is an understatement.
Kansas State has to get a lot of sloppiness cleaned up if they want to win any conference games this year. They’ve been giving the team other points by turning the ball over and that will lose you the game nine times out of ten.
Something has been off with this team and they’re running out of time to figure out what it is. This weekend’s game will be incredibly tough, but at least it’s at home for Kansas State. That is an advantage for a team that has struggled mightily on the road this season.
Alex Barnes did all he could to win this game for K-State, but the rest of the team let him down. Hopefully the Cats can pull off an upset win against OSU in Manhattan this upcoming weekend.
