Kansas State football couldn’t keep up with the Baylor Bears, as the Wildcats fell in Waco, Texas on Saturday. They’re now 2-4 on the year in what has become a lost season.

The game against the Baylor Bears was a must win situation for the Kansas State football team. That is, the Wildcats needed to win this last game if Bill Snyder wanted a semi-realistic chance at leading his team to a bowl game at the end of the 2018 season.

Now, after Snyder’s team fell short on the road, Kansas State holds a 2-4 record this year. The Wildcats are on a three-game losing streak. The three opponents that K-State has lost during that streak are all against Big 12 conference foes.

Things could be going better, to say the least.

On Saturday, Kansas State and Baylor traded scores as the Wildcats’ offense finally came alive. Alex Barnes and Skylar Thompson moved the offense up and down the field, getting the Wildcats into the end zone several times.

Still, K-State came up short. And while there were a few different bright spots for Snyder’s team, there were ultimately more bad things than there were good things happening in Waco for the Wildcats. And of course, given the fact that Kansas State lost, there were some truly awful and ugly things that happened too.

Let’s go through the good, the bad, and the ugly from Kansas State’s game against Baylor.
