BAD: INJURIES

5-0 is 5-0, but the injuries are starting to pile up in Kansas City. Justin Houston left the game, Eric Murray left the game, and Laurent Duvernay-Tardif left the game, all with injuries. These three players are important to the Chiefs and at some point, these injuries will catch up the the Chiefs.

With Murray out of the game, however, a guy named Jordan Lucas came in and made quite the difference in the secondary. I don’t expect him to be the next big thing or anything, but that was certainly a positive for the Chiefs.

BAD: RUN GAME

KC’s run game was barely doing anything in the first half and probably wouldn’t have had many yards at all had they not opted to start running the clock out near the end. Kareem Hunt finished the day with 87 yards off of 22 carries and a touchdown, but most of that production came in the second half.
