GOOD: RED ZONE DEFENSE
In a season where the Chiefs defense hasn’t been very good, they picked the perfect week to show up in a big way. The red zone defense in particular was fantastic, holding the Jaguars to just one of five in the red zone and 14 points overall.
That #Chiefs red zone stop vs. Jacksonville was the first time in 28 tries a team had kept the Jaguars off the scoreboard in the red zone this year.

GOOD: PASS RUSH
The Chiefs secondary and run defense have been mostly questionable this year, but the pass rush is shining through. Dee Ford continues to show he’s hungry for a contract, notching another sack (giving him four on the season).
The rest of the pass rush got in on the party too, adding another four sacks on the day. Kansas City had five total sacks on Blake Bortles and now have a total of 15 through five games this year. After last year’s mediocre pass rush, this is a welcomed sight for Chiefs fans.
