SIT ‘EM – WR

3. player. 124. . Wide Receiver. Chiefs. Sammy Watkins

Sammy Watkins has been as hot and cold as a player could be early into the fantasy football season. After a cold week to start the year, he was on fire in weeks two and three, and then cooled off this past Monday in Denver.

Fantasy owners might think Watkins has a chance to take off again this week considering Jalen Ramsey will be covering Tyreek Hill, but gambling on that might not be the best idea. Watkins was banged up last week and finished the night with just one target and no receptions. Hardly the performance fantasy owners were expecting against what had been a mediocre Broncos passing defense.

With a tough Jaguars secondary on the agenda this week and injuries hampering Watkins’ production on Monday Night Football, the Chiefs receiver isn’t the best option to play in week five.

This could be one of my ballsier sit suggestions considering how hot the Chiefs offense has been, but proceed with caution when it comes to Sammy Watkins this weekend.
