SIT ‘EM – RB

Dalvin Cook. 2. player. 60. . Running Back. Vikings

Dalvin Cook has been one of the biggest disappointments in all of fantasy football this year and that’s why he’s a prime option to sit this week. The Vikings will face the Eagles, who are good at stopping the run.

Cook hasn’t amassed 50 yards in any of his games so far and a lot of the time, the Vikings have had to abandon the run due to being in a shootout. There’s really not a strong case as to why someone should start Cook this week honestly.

With his lack of production so far and a tough match-up in week five, keep Dalvin Cook on the bench. Don’t give up on the second year back just yet, but yeah, he’s definitely been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments through four weeks.

Per Fantasy Pros,

"After watching Leonard Fournette reaggravate his hamstring injury last week, it’s wise to be cautious. On top of that, the Eagles have still yet to allow a running back more than 36 yards on the ground."

Hopefully that changes and Cook can make an impact soon, but that impact likely won’t come against a stout Eagles run defense.
