This game will bring back memories of the epic old Patriots vs Colts match-ups, but don’t let that fool you… This will be a dud of a game.

More from Fantasy Football

There are fantasy football implications though. I didn’t list Andrew Luck here because I could see things from either side. He’d be a good starting option this week due to the Patriots defense struggling in weeks one through three. He also looked pretty good against the Texans last week and was able to throw the ball a bit further than we’ve seen since his surgery.

As for why it could make sense to sit Luck, the Patriots shut out the Dolphins last week and limited Ryan Tannehill to just 100 yards and an interception. It was an ugly outing for the Fins offense, but maybe the Pats defense has figured some things out.

Josh Gordon is another player I left off. He had two catches last week for 32 yards and is the definition of a boom or bust player on Thursday night. I could definitely see Gordon going off the rails and having a monster game, but on the flip side, he could have just one or two catches and be irrelevant.

Hopefully this game ends up being close and we see an exciting game like the last two weeks, but for fantasy football purposes, it has some storylines.

Best of luck this week!
