SIT ‘EM

player. 47. . Wide Receiver. Patriots. Chris Hogan. 3

The lack of weapons in New England has been painfully obvious, as Chris Hogan was one of the top options for the Patriots through the first four weeks. Aside from a two touchdown performance in week two against the Jaguars, Hogan has been disappointing thus far.

The college lacrosse player has just eight receptions for 109 yards with two touchdowns (both in the same game) so far. Last week he hauled in just one pass for 25 yards. Not exactly the performance fantasy owners were hoping for if they opted to start the Pats receiver.

With Julian Edelman back for the Pats offense and Josh Gordon in town now, Hogan isn’t going to be utilized nearly as much. Keep him as a bench player, but for the most part, he probably won’t be anything more than a Flex option moving forward this season.

Hogan might be able to get some points against lousy defenses, but he’s not dependable anymore moving forward.
