Fantasy Football Start ‘Em: Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron (Photo by Zach Bolinger/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images) /

START ‘EM

Colts. Eric Ebron. 3. player. 46. . Tight End

So, it is true what they say: Sometimes people DO need a change of scenery and we’re seeing that displayed with tight end Eric Ebron. Ebron flamed out in Detroit, but is a legitimate weapon for Andrew Luck and the Colts in Indy. He looks like an entirely different player than the one we saw with the Lions.

This week’s match-up bodes well for Ebron. For one, he’s shown he’s the Colts’ most lethal red zone target, hauling in three touchdowns in these first four weeks. To put it into perspective, the most he ever had in Detroit in a season was five.

Luck looks for Ebron in the red zone and with how poorly the Patriots defense has performed (minus last week against an anemic Dolphins offense), the Colts tight end should be able to find the end zone at least once.

Fantasy owners don’t need to be cautious of splitting snaps with Jack Doyle because he has been ruled out for this game. That means almost all of the tight end targets will go to Ebron.
