Kansas City Chiefs: 2018 Week 3 Staff Predictions against San Francisco
Seamus Levin
The San Francisco 49ers seem like a middle of the road team. They don’t have an outstanding defense to stop many people, and they don’t consistently have the offense to go out and wow people. They seem like a team with no real identity as of yet. That being said, this could be the week this changes.
The 49ers are starting the season 1-1 after being beat by the Vikings and dropping 30 on Lions. I think they will try to establish the winning streak. The keyword in that sentence being try. Just like the Pittsburgh game, I see only rushes in the first quarter and passing game after that.
The Chiefs are coming off a high riding victory in Pittsburgh. They performed well, and finally play at home this week. I think Kareem Hunt will be more motivated to have a better game next week after having a not bad, but kinda so-so week last week. This defense is the only thing that worries me.
I can see this game actually going either way. I think the passing game will still be dominant in this game, with the Chiefs offense being a little closer to run-pass balanced. I think this game will get a little closer than I or most Chiefs would like. Ultimately I see the defense stepping up and getting a stop at the end of this game.
Come back after the game and check out how we did this week!
