It’s week three in the NFL and that means it’s also week three of fantasy football! Who should you start and who should you sit in this week’s slate of games?

We’re now two weeks into the fantasy football season and we’re slowly starting to figure out what kind of players we have on our teams. I usually wait until week four or so before I give up on someone who might not be producing the numbers I expected. Some are less patient than I am in those regards though.

By this point, hopefully readers know that my Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em posts are intended for the non-elite players. Everyone knows they should start Tom Brady and DeAndre Hopkins every week. These posts are more about the guys who might not be as big of names.

Each week, I’ll look back at my advice from the previous week and we’ll see where I offered good advice and where I offered bad advice. Let’s see how I fared in week two.

GOOD ADVICE: STARTING BEN ROETHLISBERGER, SITTING DERRICK HENRY

I’m not going to lie to you guys. I didn’t have a great week, but hopefully you listened to me on these two players. Ben Roethlisberger had 39 points in ESPN leagues while Derrick Henry notched just five. What is going on with the Titans running back? Hopefully you had him on the bench.

BAD ADVICE: STARTING JOSH GORDON, SITTING RYAN FITZPATRICK

I don’t think I should beat myself up too much for these suggestions, as I posted my Start Em, Sit Em post before the Josh Gordon trade rumors even started. Gordon didn’t suit for the Browns in New Orleans and now he’s a Patriot.

As for Ryan Fitzpatrick, sorry that I didn’t believe he’d follow up his insane week one performance with an encore. I doubt many saw that coming.

Time to get to week three’s suggestions!
