Not going to lie, it was tricky sorting through this week’s options for Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em because this game isn’t all that exciting.

More from Fantasy Football

When the quarterback match-up this week is Sam Darnold vs Tyrod Taylor, the hype level for the Thursday Night Football game isn’t going to be all that high. Neither of those quarterbacks are worth starting in your fantasy football league.

Both defenses are worth starting. The Browns defense is off to a really good start and the Jets defense hasn’t recorded anything less than ten points so far in their two games. It’s still early in the year, but both defenses are options to start week in and week out (except maybe bench the Jets D whenever they face the Patriots).

For my last starter spot, I went with Browns tight end David Njoku. There aren’t a lot of great tight ends to roll with in fantasy football, but Njoku is someone who the potential is there, we’re just waiting to see it. He hasn’t done much in fantasy yet.

The last Sit ‘Em spot I gave to the Jets running back tandem. Isaiah Crowell had a nice week one effort and then followed it up with a stinker against the Dolphins. I don’t trust him to put up good numbers against a Browns team that held Alvin Kamara to under 50 yards last week.

This is one of the more lackluster Thursday night games of the season, but hopefully my advice ends up looking smart! Good luck this week everyone!
