Fantasy Football: 2018 Week 3 Waiver Wire Wednesday
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Antonio Callaway
As you might have heard on Monday, the Browns are done with Josh Gordon. It sounds like he will be making his way to New England. If Gordon is on the waivers in your league, I would be shocked and somewhat question your league. He should have more success with Tom Brady and the Patriots considering they tend to take wide receivers and get the best out of them.
With Gordon out, rookie wide receiver Antonio Callaway will get a chance to step forward in a significant way. We saw some of this in the Week 2 game against the New Orleans Saints when Callaway came away with three catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. Most of his yards came on a hail mary pass, but the rookie has shown reason to be optimistic about his future production.
Callaway looked great during the offseason and had the big play potential. If Cleveland doesn’t end up signing Dez Bryant, he could be a steal that you can stash on your bench for a week or two until he gets fully involved. If Dez does come to Cleveland, it might not be worth the grab, however.
