Week 2 of the NFL regular season has come and gone. It’s time to look at who some waiver wire players would be smart to grab in the upcoming waiver wire.

It’s been an amazing two weeks of football already. The NFL has had plenty of surprises through these two weeks of football. A few teams have come out looking better than expected, while other teams are not even coming close to expectations. There have also already been some injuries that could hurt your fantasy team.

If you’re like me, you’ve already sustained an injury or two and are looking for some immediate help. I was one of the unfortunate owners of Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker. Following his season-ending injury, I’m forced to continue to find a tight end to fill in. With the tight end position being one of the hardest to find some consistency, I will continue to look in the waiver wire for good matchups.

The waiver wire isn’t just about filling in for injuries. Maybe you have seen a player that has looked good so far this season and wanted to snatch him up to keep him away from your opponents. Picking up the backup running back of your opponents injured running back is always an excellent way to pick on a buddy.

Today we will look at who you should be considering in the Week 3 Waiver Wire period. These are guys that could be seeing larger roles due to lack of production or injuries. Some of these are players that should immediately start in your lineup, while others might be gems for later on that you don’t want your opponents getting their hands on. Let’s take a look!
