The Kansas City Chiefs won a shootout in Pittsburgh on Sunday and boy was it a fun one for Chiefs Kingdom! Let’s take a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from the week two victory against the Steelers.

Hallelujah! The Kansas City Chiefs FINALLY beat the Pittsburgh Steelers and they did so on the road and in electric fashion. This Steelers team has had Kansas City’s number throughout the duration of Ben Roethlisberger‘s career. That’s why despite a 21-0 lead IN THE FIRST QUARTER, I was still skeptical of the Chiefs winning.

Fortunately, the Chiefs added 21 more points to that total and won 42-37 against a team that has constantly been a thorn in the Chiefs’ side over the years. There was obviously a lot of good in this game, but we’ll also take a look at the bad and the ugly as well.

Let’s start off with something good.

GOOD: OFFENSIVE LINE

Despite some stupid penalties, the Chiefs offensive line did well on Sunday. The rushing game might not have been dominant, but Kareem Hunt was able to rush for 75 yards. The offensive line also kept Patrick Mahomes upright nearly all afternoon, as he was sacked just once.

So far through two games, Mahomes has been sacked twice. This offensive line has shown that maybe they are gelling together because the protection has been there and the run game did enough to make a difference.

The offensive line belongs in the GOOD this week.
