START ‘EM – QB

Ben Roethlisberger. 1. player. 55. . Quarterback. Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger was awful in week one against the Browns, but stick with him, fantasy owners. Big Ben gets a much more favorable match-up in week two against the Chiefs, who were shredded by Philip Rivers last week.

Rivers threw for 424 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception last week against a Chiefs defense that is incredibly vulnerable. If it weren’t for a bunch of dropped passes by Chargers receivers, Rivers would have touched 500 yards.

With how badly Big Ben and the Steelers have been able to beat up on the Chiefs in the past, fantasy owners would be foolish not to give Roethlisberger another chance this week. Now if he goes out there and looks like trash against the Chiefs defense, then yes… You may bench him and no one would blame you for that.

Roethlisberger is about as up and down as it gets for fantasy football quarterbacks, but he should rebound nicely against a lousy Chiefs defense. Not to mention he’s yet to lose a game to Kansas City where he starts and finishes the entire game. Gotta like those odds for Big Ben, who has a history of rebounding nicely after lousy performances.
