The Kansas City Chiefs will travel to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2 for an even bigger test. We talk with Still Curtain writer for inside scoop.

The Kansas City Chiefs took care of business by upsetting the Los Angeles Chargers in their Week 1 game. Now they will travel to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers who will be an even greater test for this young team. Pittsburgh has dominated the Chiefs over the last few seasons in both the regular season and in the playoffs.

While beating the Chargers and taking the lead in the AFC West beating the most likely toughest opponent within the division, beating the Steelers would mean even more for this Chiefs team. Since head coach Andy Reid came to Kansas City, the Chiefs are 1-4 against the Steelers combining regular season and playoffs.

Obviously, the Chiefs are a completely different team than they have been the last five years with Patrick Mahomes at the quarterback position. They’ve also seen a massive overhaul in defensive talent this offseason. Getting a win over the Steelers would put Kansas City on the map in the AFC.

While Pittsburgh started off slow with a tie against the Cleveland Browns in Week 1, that shouldn’t make fans feel comfortable about this game. Last season, the Steelers similarly lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars as Big Ben threw five interceptions. The following week they took that frustration out on the Kansas City Chiefs. I wouldn’t expect much different this season.

The question is, can Kansas City still turn things around in 2018. If Kansas City can beat the Steelers to start the season off 2-0, it would go a long way with their tough start to the schedule and getting recognized nationally. We talked to Still Curtain writer Donnie Druin to get an inside look of the Pittsburgh Steelers and how they feel going into this game.
