SIT ‘EM

Wide Receiver. Bengals. John Ross. 3. player. 56.

This one seems like a no brainer, but after recording his first career touchdown last week, some people might think John Ross could be a sleeper candidate in week two. Ross disappointed as a rookie last year, but does have the potential to become a key player in the Bengals offense this year.

With that said, however, don’t be fooled by that touchdown and make him a starter this week. Ross had just one reception last week, which was the touchdown grab, and it was only a three-yard grab. He was targeted twice by Dalton.

While Ross will become a great option down the field for Dalton in games to come, it’s still way too early to thrust him into a starting role, even if he did record 7.3 points in ESPN leagues last week.

Slowly, but surely, John Ross will become a more dependable player, but for now, leave him on your bench.
