FIVE THINGS TO WATCH VS PURDUE

NUMBER 3 – GET THE BALL TO HALL

Drew Lock has looked tremendous so far this year, but he’s had a big help by the name of Emanuel Hall. Hall has already emerged as Lock’s go-to receiver and he deserves that honor after hauling in ten receptions for 171 yards and a touchdown last week.

The week prior Hall oddly enough had 171 yards as well, but did that damage off of just four receptions. He’s looked the part of an elite college wideout, but can Hall continue to stay hot as the season progresses and the opponents get more difficult?

Purdue allowed the Eastern Michigan receivers to rack up 347 yards through the air, so their passing defense isn’t very good. That opens things up for Hall to continue to dominate in his third game of the season.

To put Hall’s early season success in perspective, he had just 307 yards all year in 2016 as a sophomore and has already put up 342 as a senior this year. Assuming he doesn’t get injured, Hall should pass his 2017 junior numbers (33 receptions for 817 yards and eight touchdowns) with ease.
