Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver Cole Beasley

The Dallas Cowboys have lost a number of talented options in their offense this offseason and preseason. With the release of Dez Bryant and Jason Witten retiring just before the draft, there are limited options for Dak Prescott to work with. One player that seems to be his top target is Cole Beasley.

Beasley saw the most targets of the Cowboys offense with eight catching seven of those for 73 yards. Given the lack of talent in the receiving core, Beasley coming out of the slot is the best option to grab from the Cowboys offense.

The offense will still run through Ezekiel Elliott, but with injuries to the offensive line, it will be a true test for the third year running back. He’s also not going to run the ball every single play. At some point, Dak has to throw the ball and it seems that Beasley is his main option in that offense.
