Week 1 of the regular season in the NFL has come and gone. Between injuries and bad performances, here are some players for this week’s waiver wire.

As the first week of the regular season as finished, everyone has their thoughts on how their individual fantasy team did this week. Week 1 is the hardest to predict as it’s almost another preseason game, but one that actually matters. Teams are using their schemes for the first time and starters are having to play entire games which they haven’t done since December or January.

That’s something to keep in mind going into Week 2 of the regular season, and also when you are checking out the waiver wire in your fantasy league. That FLEX option that you had last week might still have a shot at being a solid contributor.

Most of these picks are to replace injuries that have been sustained in Week 1. Another reason you might be looking at the waiver wire is for players that broke out during the Week 1 game and look to be consistent pieces in their respected offenses going forward.

Regardless, keeping up with the waiver wire on a weekly basis is key to winning your fantasy league. I’ve never watched someone win their league by keeping the guys they have all season long. Finding those gems in the waiver wire that your friends aren’t noticing yet is key. Here are my Week 2 waiver wire guys you should be keeping an eye on at the least.
