Finishing their drives is key to a Kansas State Football win

Four times the Wildcats were unable to finish their drive. Lucky for them their new kicker was perfect that night.

Sophomore kicker Blake Lynch made all four of his field goals last Saturday night. Lynch made kicks of 24, 22, 38, and 44 yards.

Three of those kicks were due to Kansas State not finishing. 22 and 24-yard field goals are merely extra points without the preceding touchdown.

Had the Wildcats finished the drive, the game last week would not have been close?

They simply can not afford to come up short this week. As comforting as it is to know that Lynch can kick the ball through the goal posts, field goals just won’t be enough.

The Wildcats have plenty of weapons to score touchdowns in the red zone, it’s really inexcusable.
