SIT ‘EM

player. 44. . Tight End. Falcons. Austin Hooper. 2

This might be one of the easier “Sits” this week. Austin Hooper is currently Atlanta’s starting tight end, but that might not be the case when we get a few weeks into the season.

Hooper had his moments last season, but the production is probably going to decline from him. He saw just one target against the Eagles in the postseason and it’s unlikely that with three solid receivers and some dynamite running backs, Ryan won’t be looking Hooper’s way all that often.

The Eagles were also solid against the tight end last year, only allowing Travis Kelce and Jordan Reed to put up big performances against them. While Hooper has had decent plays here and there, he’s probably not someone you drafted intending to start.

Keep Hooper in that backup tight end role this week.
