START ‘EM

54. . Wide Receiver. Eagles. Nelson Agholor. 1. player

It’s hard to believe that Nelson Agholor is heading into his fourth NFL season, but it’s true. Agholor got off to a slow start in his first two years, but it’s no coincidence that his breakout season was the same year as when his Eagles won the Super Bowl. He was on fire last year, hauling in 768 yards in his first real productive season as an Eagle.

Agholor is a good option to start for Thursday night against the Falcons. He was one of Carson Wentz‘s (and Nick Foles‘) favorite red zone targets a season ago, finding the end zone eight times in 2017. Look for that to continue Thursday night.

The thing to remember with Agholor is that he’ll get more opportunities in the first two weeks with Alshon Jeffery out due to injury. If Agholor steps it up, perhaps he can jump up to that second wide receiver spot on the depth chart, rather than third, where he sits now.
