FIVE THINGS TO WATCH VS WYOMING COWBOYS
NUMBER 2 – CAN HALL STAY HOT?
There might not have been a player with a better day last Saturday than wide receiver Emanuel Hall. Out of Lock’s 289 passing yards on the day, Hall was responsible for 171 of them. He did that damage on just four receptions too, so it’s safe to say he was the star of the game.
One of the big questions regarding Missouri’s offense this year was which wide receivers would be making Drew Lock look good and Emanuel Hall was one that needed to step up this year. He might have only had four catches on Saturday, but went for nearly 200 yards and found the end zone twice.
Every quarterback needs a solid wide receiver to make him look good and if Hall can be that for Lock this year, then that’d be great. So far, it looks like the connection is going to be as good as advertised, but we’ll see if Wyoming can slow the pair down.
One game is nothing to get overly excited about, especially against a team from the Ohio Valley Conference. If Hall can replicate his week one performance against the Cowboys, Mizzou fans have every right to start getting giddy over what could be this year.
