Mizzou football is 1-0 on the young season and now they’ll look to host a little bit tougher of an opponent with the Wyoming Cowboys coming to town. What should fans be keeping an eye on this weekend?

Mizzou football started the season about as well as a team could hope for. They put up 51 points and only allowed Tennessee-Martin to find the end zone twice. Drew Lock looked sensational and the offense was basically clicking on all cylinders. Oh, not to mention the defense did its job too.

It’s easy to look at last week’s victory and scoff back with “It was against Tennessee-Martin…” Well, tell those people to cram it. Out of all of the local schools, the Missouri Tigers were the only ones who did what was asked of them this weekend.

Kansas State nearly lost to South Dakota and the Kansas Jayhawks continued to be the laughing stock of college football, losing to Nicholls State. So yeah, when it comes to bragging rights this weekend, MU might not have played a tough team, but neither did the other two local schools. At least Missouri won convincingly.

Okay, enough boasting. Let’s put week one of the regular season in the books and take a look at what week two has in store for Tiger fans. Up next are the Wyoming Cowboys.
