The Kansas City Chiefs will begin their 2018 season this Sunday and standing between them and the playoffs are 16 regular season games. What will the Chiefs’ final record be after the regular season?

This Sunday marks the beginning of the Kansas City Chiefs 2018 season. They’re coming off a 10-6 record and another AFC West title in 2017, but that was about where the positives ended. The Chiefs once again faltered in the playoffs, losing in embarrassing fashion to the Tennessee Titans.

The Chiefs will turn to a new era this year, as Patrick Mahomes will be taking over the quarterbacking duties. Mahomes brings hope to Chiefs Kingdom, but it won’t be easy for the first year quarterback.

The Chiefs have a tough schedule with four of their first six games coming against teams with over .500 records in 2017. Three of those teams made the postseason and the one that didn’t was the Chargers, a tough AFC West adversary.

With the season underway, the KC Kingdom staff has made predictions for every game this year. Editors Leigh Oleszczak, Travis Steffen, and Chris Taylor along with staffer John McCarty have rotated with each game and made their predictions.

Obviously, we can’t predict injuries, suspensions, or anything else that could drastically change the course of a season, so we’re going off of things being exactly how they are right now.

What will our final regular season record look like for the Kansas City Chiefs? Read on to find out.
