The Kansas City Chiefs have made their final cuts to drop their roster down to 53 players. Who were surprise cuts and how do we feel about the roster?

The Kansas City Chiefs have made it through training camp and the preseason. On Saturday afternoon at 3 P.M. Arrowhead time, all NFL teams were to have their rosters cut to the final 53-man roster. Of course, this doesn’t mean that this will be the roster going into Week 1 when the Chiefs travel to Los Angeles.

General Manager Brett Veach will be looking over the cuts from other franchises this weekend in hopes of finding talent to add to this roster’s depth. There are still positions of need that we all hope the team can find some answer for during this time.

It would also not surprise me to see some trades before the Week 1 game as Veach made trades last year following the preseason. Trading late round draft picks for guard Cam Erving and inside linebacker Reggie Ragland last year.

Regardless, the final 53-man roster has been made for Saturday afternoon cuts. There are plenty of interesting players that made the final roster and ones that didn’t make the cut. We are going to look at some of the ups and downs of the final cuts, and I will explain my thoughts on some of the moves Kansas City decided to go with for the 2018 season.
