LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

WHY THEY WON’T WIN THE AFC WEST

When the Chargers moved from San Diego to Los Angeles to begin a new chapter, the injury bug followed them there. So far this summer, the Chargers have already Hunter Henry and Jason Verrett for the entire season due to injuries.

Maybe this is the punishment the Chargers get due to Rivers staying so healthy over the years. They looked to be the team to beat in the AFC West until both Henry and Verrett went down. Not to mention Hayward and Bosa also have been banged up this summer too and those are two MAJOR injuries.

Another reason to not buy in on LA this year is because they have struggled against the Chiefs since Andy Reid was hired by Kansas City. The Chargers haven’t beaten the Chiefs since 2013 and every time it looks like they’ll take one from KC, they end up getting defeated handily.

People seem to have confidence in the Los Angeles Chargers winning the AFC West, but until they prove they can handle the Chiefs, don’t bank on them sitting at the top at the end of the season.
