FIVE THINGS TO WATCH VS AKRON

 NUMBER 3 – WIDE RECEIVER OPPOSITE STANLEY MORGAN JR.

Obviously Stanley Morgan Jr. is going to continue to light it up, but on the other side of the field, the Huskers have almost all new faces out there on the gridiron. Mike Williams is listed as the starter there for now and he’s a true freshman.

With both Williams and quarterback Adrian Martinez as true freshmen, it might take some time for the two of them to really gel, but when they do click, that could be pretty special.

The other wide receiver on that side of the depth chart is Andre Hunt, who is a transfer from JUCO. He’ll obviously have a lot to prove too, so this battle between these two wideouts could be quite interesting.

While the first week is just the first of many games this season, it’d obviously be great to see something out of the receivers opposite Morgan. We all know Morgan is going to show up big time, but will his peers join him in that department?
