The Kansas City Chiefs have concluded the preseason. All teams must have their rosters cut down to 53 by Saturday afternoon. Who made the cut?

The Kansas City Chiefs finished up the preseason by hosting the Green Bay Packers on Thursday evening. We are finally looking at real football games that matter to the standings of teams! Before those games can take place, the Chiefs and the rest of the NFL have to cut their rosters down to 53 players by Saturday afternoon at 3 P.M. Arrowhead time.

All preseason we have been trying to figure out what this roster will look like beyond the starters. After four preseason games, we have a good idea of what it could look like. However, this will not be the final roster that we see traveling to Los Angeles for the teams Week 1 game.

The roster will change even more after the final cut down. General Manager Brett Veach will be on the lookout for players that have been cut from other rosters to help fill the spots on the roster that are in desperate need of talent. He will also be looking for trades with other organizations most likely.

It was just a year ago that Veach traded for Reggie Ragland and Cam Erving with late round picks. There’s no doubt in my mind that he will once again look to make some trades this year before we start the regular season. This prediction is basing off what we have on the roster as of late. Further changes from outside will likely be made. As for now, let’s look at who I think makes the roster that’s already in Kansas City.
