FANTASY FOOTBALL DEEP SLEEPERS TO TARGET: NUMBER 8 – DEMARCUS ROBINSON

Chiefs fans might roll their eyes at Demarcus Robinson being considered a deep sleeper, but that’s only because they know who he is. People outside of Kansas City probably couldn’t tell you much about Robinson, but he’s certainly a deep sleeper option in fantasy football.

Unlike a lot of the other guys on this list, Robinson saw a significant amount of playing time last year. He appeared in all 16 games (starting eight of them) and had 21 receptions for 212 yards. He really was out there more once Chris Conley got hurt, which won’t be the case this year.

Robinson has had chances to show he can be a number two wideout, but hasn’t stepped up. He has a new quarterback this year in Patrick Mahomes and that right there is already more promising for him as a player and a fantasy football option.

Robinson might be worth a draft pick in deep leagues (12 or 14 people), but I wouldn’t look to add him until late in the draft, if at all. He more than likely will be available on the waiver wires as the season rolls along, unless you’re playing in a league with a lot of Chiefs fans.
