FANTASY FOOTBALL DEEP SLEEPERS TO TARGET: NUMBER 1 – GERONIMO ALLISON

Geronimo Allison is worth targeting for one main reason: He has Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback. Wouldn’t that make you much more confident when it came to drafting a lesser known wide receiver?

This will be Allison’s third year in the league and he’s looking to build on his first two seasons as an NFL receiver. His rookie season, the year in which several Packers wideouts got injured, saw Allison haul in 12 receptions for 202 yards and two touchdowns.

He had more yards in year two (23 receptions for 253 yards), but didn’t find the end zone. Once Rodgers went down last year, the chances of Allison really contributing weren’t all that high.

The Packers have some rookie receivers this year, but as of now, Allison will see more than enough opportunities to get the ball in his hands. It helps that he has arguably the best quarterback in the league too.

Any time Aaron Rodgers is your quarterback, you’re a good option to target in fantasy football. Allison should still be on the draft boards by the later rounds and if you’re getting to the point where you’re just kind of drafting the best available, give Geronimo Allison a try.
