FANTASY FOOTBALL DEEP SLEEPERS TO TARGET: NUMBER 5 – COREY GRANT

It’s not as common to see a more seasoned vet on these deep sleeper lists, but Corey Grant fits that mold. Heading into his fourth year, the Jaguars running back looks to make his presence known.

Leonard Fournette and T.J. Yeldon are ahead of Grant on the depth chart, but with Chris Ivory gone now, things will open up a little more for Corey Grant. He had 30 carries last year for 248 yards and two touchdowns.

Where Grant could end up being valuable is the fact that Fournette has battled injuries throughout his young career. Should that be the case, Grant would be a better starting option than Yeldon, who simply hasn’t shined in a starting role.

Grant won’t be an impact player unless injuries happen on the Jags offense, but if Fournette misses some time, he’s worth a pick-up.
