FANTASY FOOTBALL DEEP SLEEPERS TO TARGET: NUMBER 6 – JOHN BROWN

After four years with the Cardinals, John Brown joined the Baltimore Ravens this year. A former D2 standout from Pitt State, Brown made his presence known in the desert and he’s now the number two wideout in Baltimore.

How can a number two option be a deep sleeper? Well, that’s easy. Brown wasn’t all that effective for the Cardinals last year. In fact, it was easily his worst pro season. That’s okay because now he’s a lesser known commodity. Brown had just 299 yards last year, but found the end zone three times.

This is a guy who, in his second year in 2015, had over 1,000 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. The potential to be a fiery wideout is there, but his time in Arizona fizzled out.

A chance of scenery could be all Brown needs in 2018 and he is the number two option on the depth chart. He only sits behind Michael Crabtree on the depth chart and will see his fair share of targets.
